PREREQUISITES FOR GoPro Local version 21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285


1) Older versions of GoPro Local must always be uninstalled before new version is installed


2) Installers are are available both for both perUser installations and perMachine installations.

    Windows
    a) gopro-local-admin-setup-21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285.msi        : Administrative installer to distribute centrally. Installs all GoPro Local components into "Program Files".
    b) gopro-local-setup-21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285.exe              : Installer for standard users without administrative privileges. Installs all GoPro Local components into user's local app data folder.

    MAC OS
    a) gopro-local-setup-21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285.dmg              : User install. Installs all GoPro Local components into user's private Applications folder.
    b) gopro-local-setup-21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285.pkg              : Admin or user install. Installs all GoPro Local components into user's private Applications folder or all users Applications folder.

3) Example scenarios Admin install of full GoPro Local  (gopro-local-admin-setup-21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285.msi)

    a) Full Admin install with group policy server settings
        * Administrator uses group policy to install msi on perMachine level.
        * No command line parameters are used
        * Example : msiexec /i gopro-local-admin-setup-21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285.msi /quiet

4) Example scenarios User install of full GoPro Local  (gopro-local-setup-21.1.7-730-b16c950792ec552ad3fc5f6b4de0e46c9e1c7285.exe)

	a) Full User install with group policy server settings
		* Each user installs software on perUser level. (using msi directly, not msiexec)
		* No need for administrative access to their machine.
		* No command line parameters are used

	b) Full User install with group policy default settings
		* Each user installs software on perUser level. (using msi directly, not msiexec)
		* No need for administrative access to their machine.
		* No command line parameters are used

	c) Full User install with group policy running the msi with parameters
		* Group policy runs perUser install on behalf of the end user.
		* The software is installed on perUser level.
		* Uses msiexec quietly with no UI using the command line options /qn
		* No need for administrative access to their machine.
		* Example : msiexec /i gopro-local-user-setup-20.3.3-11049.msi
